Description:
A scarce factory engraved antique American Hopkins & Allen XL No3 five shot .32 caliber Rim-fire Revolver. Circa 1875. The top strap is engraved HOPKINS & ALLEN MFG CO XL No 3 PAT. MAR.28.1871.APR.27.1876. 2.5 inch octagonal barrel. Spur trigger and rosewood birds head grips. Decorative factory engraving to the frame and barrel. Action in good working order. Some minor wear, slight staining, and scratches to the frame otherwise in good condition. Overall length 7 inches. Bore very good condition. Cleaned, inspected, and test fired with no issues.
