Description: Harrington & Richardson RARE 10" Octagon bbl "Hunter" Model 7-shot .22 rim fire Only made four years (1926-1929) This is a used H&R RARE 10" Octagon barrel "HUNTER MODEL". According to the big and informative book H&R Arms Co. 1871-1986 by W. E. “Bill” Goforth, this small frame model was only made for about four years from 1926-1929. This revolver It has the original oversize saw-handle checkered walnut grips that are in good condition -- NO cracks. The top strap is correctly marked “HUNTER MODEL” with the usual H&R markings on the left side of the barrel above the .22 Rim Fire caliber marking. Bore is good, mechanically good with tight lock up. Hard to find with this 10" Octagon barrel. The barrel has light pitting with bluing wear. There is bluing wear at the muzzle, and also some bluing wear on the receiver. Please see all pictures for best description of condition.
