Description:
Up for sale today we have this very cool vintage H&R model 929 Side-Kick revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The prefix date code on the serial number is a "T" which correlates to this gun being built in 1957. This one has the very unique slabside barrel that is flat on the sides and round on the top and bottom. Holds a whopping 9 rounds of .22 LR ammunition in the cylinder. This gun is a double action so it can be fired with or without the hammer cocked. The barrel is 6" with a minty looking bore that has sharp crisp rifling. All of the cylinder chambers look great. Overall this gun is in great condition considering that it is over 60 years old! It does have the usual patina from use over the years but it has not been abused and still retains most of its original bluing and the original plastic H&R grips. There is some light speckling in the finish in a few areas but I would still call the finish 80% or better. Overall this is just a great working and often under appreciated vintage revolver that has become very collectible over the years and this one needs a good home.
