Markings: Top strap is marked “SAFETY HAMMER / DOUBLE ACTION”. The left side of the grip frame is marked “752”. The left side of the spurless hammer is marked “PATENTED APRIL 5, 1887”.
Barrel Length: 2 1/2”, Octagonal Barrel
Sights: The front sight is a half-round thin blade front sight fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a shallow “U” groove in the top strap.
Grips: The grips are black checkered hard rubber with a crown and castle pattern
Finish: Nickel
Condition: Original finish, original grips, sold as is. The timing is a little loose but the firearm does function test properly. We did not fire live rounds in testing, just tested with firing pin-marking dummy rounds. This is an early model firearm that does need love. As shown, there is rust, pitting, and blemishes. The firearm can be easily restored at a reasonable cost or kept as a piece of history at a low cost. Really cool gun that is over 130 years old!
