Hembrug Dutch Ordnance Officers Model 1891 Double Action Revolver Chambered in 9.4mm **Unique and Cool**

Description:
Here we have a unique 6 shot Dutch military Hembrug Officers Model 1891 double action revolver chambered in 9.4mm. Produced for the KNIL or Dutch East Indies colonial forces with a total production of 3754 revolvers. Used through WW1. This particular example retains most of it's original finish and has worn to a very pleasing warm patina. Many of these have lost parts over the years but this one is intact with all parts present and functional. The 4 1/2" octagon barrel has weak rifling but there is some present. There is some high edge wear and the finish is thinning in places but that would be expected for an antique firearm of this age. The grips are in excellent condition with very good checkering and a lanyard loop at the bottom of the grip. This historical piece would make an excellent addition to an existing collection or a great beginning to a new collection. If this revolver could talk it would likely tell of great adventures and dangers.
