Colt Single Action Army, Modified, 1901 Vintage, Cal. .32-20 WCF

Description:
Colt Single Action Army fitted with a 5 1/2 inch barrel with replacement ramped serrated front sight, standing eagle checkered plastic grips, has been re-nickel finished, and is chambered in .32-20 WCF..  NOTE:  The gun has had the top of the frame partially flattened and also been drilled/taped  (???), the back-strap has been checkered, and the front strap has been heavilly serrated.  The gun is not numbers matching.  This 1901 vintage SAA is in good refinished condition, retaining 95% of its refinish.  The bore is shootable, with sharp rifling, but with corrosion spotting thoroughout.  The 3rd Generation  grips fit well and are in excellent condition.   The action functions well with a good lock-up on all 6 cylinders.  A decent shooter 1st Generation Colt SAA.                         CURIO & RELIC
