This Colt was produced in 1909. The pistol's serial number is 308723. It has the 5 1/2 Inch barrel chambered to shoot the 38 W.C.F. cartridge. The bore is in good to very good condition having a bright bore and sharp lands. The chambers have no pitting or other issues. The action works well with all of the cocks working correctly. The factory letter states that this Colt was shipped to Hibbard-Spencer. Bartlett and Co. In Chicago Illinois. July 6th 1909. This pistol now is mostly patina with no pitting or other surface issues. The grips are worn with a B C carved on the grip bottom surface. These grips are not serial numbered. They fit this pistol quite well and most likely are original to this gun. This is a well used Colt that shows no sign of abuse just honest wear.
