Collector’s Item: Used; Circa 1980 (approximately); SN Y12,1XX ; Colt Trooper Mk III in the Low Production .22 LR Caliber, with an even Lower Production 8-Inch Barrel. The Left Side of the Barrel is Marked in two Lines “TROOPER MK III / *.22 LONG Rifle*” – the Right Side is Marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” and has a Wide Matte Top Rib with Low Serrated Ramp Front Sight. Windage and Elevation Click-Adjustable Target Sights are inset within the Matte Topstrap. The Oval-(ish) Hammer is Deeply Serrated and the Wide Blued Trigger is Smooth; Backstrap is Serrated; and Oversize Colt Factory Grips are Correct & Original. Not being dealers or experts, we can tell the Revolver has been Fired, yet the finish appears nearly like-new, and can be judged from the photos. We see Trooper .22 LR Revolvers like this one list for $1600 - $2600 elsewhere.
