Description:
     This is a beautiful all-original Colt "Peacemaker" .22 caliber single-action revolver with both the .22 LR and the .22 Magnum cylinders.  This beauty was made in 1971, and has obviously lived a very easy life, as it is remains in excellent condition both inside and out.  All of the original factory finishes are in excellent condition, showing only the most minor handling marks and a touch of high-edge wear in spots.  The gloss blue is still bright, glossy, and clean, rating 97-98%.  The factory case-colored parts still show beautiful bright colors, rating 98% plus.  All of the factory markings are crisp and clean, and the screw slots and heads are in excellent shape with straight, unbuggered slots.  The 6" barrel has a perfect, bright bore with strong rifling throughout, and both cylinders have 6 clean chambers.  The action on this Peacemaker is slick, smooth, and precise.  It is in perfect "time" no matter how fast or slow you work it, and all of the controls on this Colt work 100% like new.  The grips are in excellent condition just like the rest of the revolver, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or visible wear/damage.  
      If you have been looking for one of these steel-framed Peacemakers to add to your collection as both an investment and occasional shooter, this example would be perfect! It is in excellent condition, thus making it investment worthy, while still having just barely enough wear on it that you wont feel like you are committing a crime when you shoot it.  The 6" inch barrel is ideal for versatility, and having both the Long Rifle and Magnum cylinders makes it useful for numerous jobs.  They just don't make them like this anymore, and there is no question that this model is far superior to the alloy-framed Scout models that Colt made in .22 caliber as well.  These Peacemakers are just better in every regard, from investment potential to actual utility.  This one is priced to move!
