1980 Royal Blue Colt 2-1/2" Python

Description:
Here is one of my 1980 Colt 2-1/2" snub Pythons from my private collection. It is the Royal Blue finish in excellent condition but does have some handling marks. There are fine scratches above the trigger on the left side (oil on trigger in photo-not scratches). There some other faint spots in some places but the finish is beautiful. I bought it thinking I may have it refinished to perfection when the seller told me there were light scratches, but the finish looks to be the original Colt Royal Blue which can't be reproduced and it just looks too nice to refinish. I have been told by many Colt enthusiast, the snub Python is far more collectible in the original finish compared to one that has been refinished so I have left it "as is".

Grips look new to me and they are a dark checkered wood with gold Colt medallions. The grips fit perfect. I do not have the box but have a 'few of the Colt docs that came in the box if you want them. This one locks up tight as a frog's waterproof butt!
