Up for sale is this beautiful Colt New Service in .455 Eley. This was manufactured in 1918, and almost surely was in British hands during the war! The blueing is absolutely gorgeous. British proofs appear on the left side frame (fore and aft) and on the rear cylinder face. Barrel has standard Colt two line address. Bore has sharp rifling with minor frosting, no rust. Original hard rubber grips show minor wear with no chips or cracks. Lanyard loop is present and intact. Mainspring and lock up are nice and tight. No import marks.
