Antique Colt New Line 22 Revolver 2nd Model Made 1876
Description: Serial #33900, .22 Short RF Black Powder, 2 1/4" barrel with a fine dark bore with strong rifling. This is the Colt New Line second model 22 Revolver manufactured in 1876. In excellent condition the little 7 shot revolver retains about 87-90% of the original bright nickel finish with most of the loss due to flaking on the cylinder and adjacent parts of the frame. The hammer and trigger retain much of the original bright nitre blue. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun and remain in excellent condition with old use marks. Mechanically it functions properly holding at half and full cock with proper indexing and a crisp trigger pull. An excellent example of these neat little Colts.
