Colt 5 1/2” Barrel New Service Revolver Chambered in .45 Acp. Mfg. 1931
Description: A Colt New Service revolver with the 5 1/2” barrel that is chambered in .45 Acp. Not to be confused with the 1917 Commercial or the New Service parts guns, this is one of the early commercial .45 Acp’s that Colt offered. These do not show up that often as most of these that were marked .45 Colt were chambered in the .45 Long Colt. The gun is overall very good but does have a rub mark on the right side of the frame. It is mechanically perfect and the bore is excellent. The original factory checkered walnut grips remain in perfect condition. The gun has the late period bolstered barrel and dates to 1931. This gun is certainly a must buy for the serious New Service collector. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly with the gun in a zipper sleeve and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $45 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
