Colt Model 357 Revolver
Description:
Serial #7800, .357 Magnum, 6" barrel with a fair bore that has two rings; one near the breech, and one about midway.
This 1955-made revolver features the early barrel markings, wide target hammer, Accro sights with yellow insert front blade, and gold medallion checkered target grips.
The metal retains 95-97% of the original blue finish with only some minor silvering at the muzzle, and a bright turn-ring on the cylinder.
An import mark is present on the underside of the barrel.
The grips have minor flattening of the points, as well as a few small chips at the toe on both panels.
The lock-up and timing are tight, and the action is crisp.
We have extensively test fired the revolver, and consistently obtain 3" six shot groups at 25 yds offhand.
As with all older .357 Magnum revolvers, use of 125 and 127 grain bullets is not advised.
This is a great looking example of a desirable Colt revolver.
