Description:
 This Colt Government Model Has been built with many enhancements. The Stainless steel frame was made in 1981. It has been modified to include fine checkering on the front grip strap and the addition of an enhanced Mag. well, hand checkered to match the front strap. A nice beaver tail grip safety has been added to prevent “bite” from the round hammer. Ambidextrous safeties are mounted and match the enlarged slide release. The extended Mag. release completes the fire control additions. A Colt 8 round Mag. is included.  The Colt series 70 slide has a relieved ejection port, mounts high visibility sights and contains a full length guide rod. The barrel appears to be the original Series 70 with an excellent bore. I don’t think the Slide / Frame fit could be better, very smooth and tight. I think this Colt should be a tack driver and if I had a Ransom Rest, perhaps I could find out. I’m not good enough to show its potential without a rest. Overall it’s a beautiful high performance pistol that will be a nice addition to your collection.

SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this handgun is $35.00.  Checks to be made out, and mailed to:

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.
A signed valid license copy will be required for shipment to only the license address.

RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee.
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 40 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
