Description: COLT FRONTIER SCOUT 6-shot SAA Revolver made in 1967 with serial number 3028A22 with 4 5/8 inch pinned barrel in .22 long rifle caliber. This is the Alamo Model which commemorates the 13 day siege in 1836 in San Antonio, Texas where 200 Americans died in battle with the Mexican Army. Included in the death toll were James Bowie, William B. Travis and Tennessee Congressman, Davie Crockett. This masterpiece is in flawless original condition with deep blue barrel with gold plated cylinder, hammer and trigger group plus gold Colt medallions and Texas Star on ivory-like grips. Note: NO CYLINDER LINE! Included, also, is the factory original wooden display case (with key) with blue velveteen lining and battle scene etched on the top. Simply beautiful.
