Contour Cased High Condition Colt Pocket Navy Revolver
Description:
Here’s a very nice higher condition colt Pocket Navy Revolver in its original and extremely rare contour casing. This example has been known to collectors for some time and has always been known of being in this particular case because of the old period paper label attached to the top of the case. Also there is an older piece of tape that reads “please give this to Richard R Murray from his mother”. The paper label is difficult to discern but from the one part is appears to start to say “Richard”. Housed in this case is a genuine .36P bullet mold, cap tin, and another correct for the model Police flask. The lining has faded a bit but still remains in good condition. The Colt itself exhibits approximately 90% barrel blue and about 30% of the color case hardening drifting to a silver. Cylinder exhibits 55% original blue. The grips retain a majority of their original factory varnish. Mechanically functions as it should. Serial number 6316 is all matching. Really nice honest set that’s been together its entire life! Shipping is $35 plus actual insurance cost.
Asking: $6,500.00
