Description:
This old 44 Colt was some cowboys pride and joy. The grips fit great. Front sight hasn't been filed.
It looks like the previous owner had some spare time( probably a cold night by the fire) and carved on the grips to personalize it. Scratched Texas on the bottom. Should letter this one. The main spring has been filed and action is smooth and light. Really good trigger pull. Not too hard, not too light. Really good old colt for 125 years old.
Has some pitting on one side of the cylinder ( must have gotten some blood on it for a period of time). but it shoots good and straight.
