Colt 1849 Wells Fargo 3” Made 1856

Description:
This is a Wells Fargo 5 shot 31 caliber with serial number 117236 with the numeral 8 under the S.N. and a two line N.Y. Address. All numbers are matching including the wedge. The trigger guard and back strap retain 35% silver. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. There are 4 partial safety pins remaining on the rear of the cylinder. The bore has strong rifling but does have partial spots of corrosion. The left front trigger bow has a L on it and the left trigger bolster has a G on it. There is a P under the barrel lug.
