"Colt 1855 Model 2 “ROOT" Pocket revolver .28 caliber (AH8582)

Description:
"Serial No. 23744, made in 1860, .28 caliber, 3 ½" octagonal barrel. Bore shows oxidation in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Barrel address remains sharp. Metal has turned to a dark grey patina with traces of original blue visible in protected areas. Serial numbers are matching, grips remain fine with light handling wear noted. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up.
