The Colt Single Action Army (SAA) Revolver, a piece of living history, is chambered in .45 Colt with the unique serial number 55053SA. Crafted in 1970, it features a classic 4¾-inch barrel with a blade front sight. The steel is adorned with intricate floral scroll engravings, covering 75% of the surface, set against a finely detailed punch dot background. Gold-inlaid bands on both the cylinder’s rear and the barrel’s muzzle end highlight this masterpiece. The back strap, a unique feature, displays three gold-inlaid musical notes alongside a vertical “GHOST RIDER” inscription, culminating in a final golden note.

This revolver’s engraving is the meticulous work of DW Harris, a highly skilled artist trained under Weldon Bledsoe, a legendary Cole Agee student who pioneered the iconic “Cattle Brand” engraving style. Harris’s intricate detailing and precise linework are a tribute to this esteemed lineage of American engraving artistry and a testament to the artist’s dedication and skill.
