RARE CUSTOM COLT SAA 3 1/2” BARREL ( SHERIFF ) MODEL P1830Z - 45 COLT & 45 ACP - BLACKPOWDER FRAME

Description:
This is a VERY NICE and VERY RARE used 2008 Colt Custom Shop 3rd Gen SAA, 3 1/2” Barrel, Model P1830Z with dual cylinders (45 Long Colt and 45ACP) and a Black Powder frame.  While this revolver is not marked “Sheriffs Model”, I have included it in the description as the term is commonly used by Colt SAA collectors to refer to any “ejectorless” SAA with a barrel length of less than 4”. It is extremely rare to find one of these revolvers with a 3 ½” Barrel and a BLACK POWDER ( BP ) FRAME that is Chambered in 45 COLT.  Blackpowder frames have a screw that must be removed in order to remove the cylinder and were used on the early 1st Generation SAAs prior to Colt’s transition to the Smokeless powder versions, which used a push pin to remove the cylinder.
 
The sale includes wooden display case, white serial numbered shipping box, Colt Custom Shop blue box, and papers as well as a floral tooled El Paso Saddlery “1880 Ranger” Holster (the belt pictured is not included).  Additionally, a beautiful second custom wooden display case with red felt lining will be made available to an interested Buyer at a to be agreed upon, discounted price.

Please note that while this item has only been lightly used (less than 150 rounds fired in each caliber), it nonetheless has some scratches, wear to the finish, and drag lines on the cylinders. Please examine the pictures carefully and ask any questions or request more pictures before purchasing as all sales are final.
