Colt Single Action Storekeepers Model, Cal. 45 LC 3rd Gen 4" Royal Blue in Box

Colt Single Action Storekeepers Model, Cal. 45 LC, One of 5 from a Sheriff's Edition Set (Custom Shop Reserve) 

This is one of five Colt Single Action Storekeepers made up for the Sheriff's Edition Custom Shop Reserve Set, manufactured by Colt in the mid 1980's.  The Colt Serial Number look up shows 1988.  This Single Action Storekeepers Model is fitted with a 4 inch 2-line address barrel, smooth 2-piece wood grips with gold Colt medallions, no ejector rod housing/ejector was fitted, completely high polish blue finished, unique serial numbered (144SE4), and chambered in .45 Long Colt.  The gun is as new/unfired  and I cannot see a drag line but you can see in the pictures if there is one on the cylinder.  Comes with a Colt box, which is numbered to the gun.  All paperwork is visible in the pictures

The gun is exactly as you see it  This is a New Gun or As New in Box or whatever.   This is a guess.   The gun was purchased, never fired.   Maybe fondled some, but again. Does not appear to have had the hammer back or the cyllinder turned.  It is exactly as you see it.   It has not had the cylinder turned or the hammer back.  We think the estate had this particular piece for a possession then went to inventory.  Box shows some wear to edges and hinges.  

This came from one of five (5) seperate estates of an FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Stores.  This is or was inventory.  This is or was part of the collection.    Please check the pictures to check condition.   There will be countless other listings from this inventory over the next 4 to 5 years.   We are selling for the each.  We did NOT buy out.. This is NOT a liquidation.  There are no lists and will be no lists.  Just keep checking the other listings.   We list as time permits as all of 5 of us closed our doors.
