Colt Single Action Army Third Generation In 44 Special With Ivory Grips And Steer Head Inking

SOLD     This Colt was produced in 1979. The pistol's serial number is SA 21182. This Colt has the 4 3/4 inch barrel chambered for the 44 Special cartridge. The bore and chambers are in very fine condition with a bright bore. The action works fine with no issues. The lock up is secure with no play. The original bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. The color cased finish is very strong with nice coloring. That finish would rate a 98% or better overall. This Colt has not seen much shooting or use. The two piece Ivory grips have the Long Horn Steer etched like a scrimshaw design on the left panel. The etching is very professionally done. The grips have the Colt gold medallions on the panels. This is a very handsome looking pistol that would look great for Cowboy Action Shooting or just to carry and use!
