Here we have a minty and beautiful Colt Single Action Army revolver chambered in .45 Colt caliber. This gorgeous nickel Colt single action appears unfired with no evidence of cylinder turn rings. The Colt Single Action Army needs no introduction, but in brief, the Colt Single Action Army (also known as the SAA, Model P, Peacemaker, or M1873) is a single-action revolver handgun. It was designed in 1872 for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1872 by Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company (today known as Colt's Manufacturing Company) and was adopted as the standard-issued pistol of the US Army in 1873 until 1892. This particular example is pristine with zero evidence that it has ever been cocked. This beautiful Colt would make a great addition to an existing collection of Single Action Army revolvers or an incredible way to begin a new collection. This piece would be an excellent investment. Original box is included.
