1999 Vintage Colt Cowboy Single Action Army in .45 Colt w/ Original Box

Description: This is a beautiful and minty 1st year production Colt Cowboy Single Action Army in .45 Colt with a 5.5" inch barrel. This Colt Cowboy appears unfired and comes with the original blue plastic factory case complete with the original serial numbered end-label. The Colt Cowboy was only offered for a short time between 1999 and 2003. While Colt advertised the Cowboy in 1998, production did not actually begin until 1999. The single-action Colt Cowboy model features all-steel construction with a blued barrel, cylinder, and grip-frame, charcoal case colors on the frame, Rampant Colt black composition grips, and a transfer-bar safety system. It was only offered in .45 Colt, and the barrels were all stamped "Colt Cowboy .45 Colt" on the left side from the factory. This particular example is a first year production gun made in 1999, and it remains in minty, like-new condition. The factory blue finish rates 99% like-new, the factory charcoal case colors are beautiful and bright rating 99%, and the grips are in mint condition with no imperfections. The bore in the 5.5" inch barrel is pristine, and the six cylinder bores are pristine as well. The action on this Cowboy is perfectly "in time" and slick. All of the controls on this Colt are 100% like the day it left the factory. If you have been looking for a minty Colt Cowboy for your collection this 1st year production 5.5" inch gun would be an excellent choice. It would be nearly impossible to upgrade from this Colt Cowboy Single Action Army revolver in any aspect.
