Colt Single Action, 1st Generation, Hank Williams Jr. Owned, Cal. .45 LC, 1904 Vintage, 4 3/4 Inch Barrel

Description:
All numbers matching, 1904 vintage, Colt Single Action Army fitted with a 4 3/4 inch barrel with 2-line address, checkered Rampant Colt hard rubber grips, round trigger guard, is blue/color case-hardened finished, and chambered in .45 Long Colt.  This Single Action out of the famous country musician Hank Williams Jr.'s personal collection is in excellent original condition, retaining 70% original blue on the barrel, 60% on the cylinder, and about 40% on the trigger guard and back strap.  The frame retains 40% of its original color case-hardened finish and all screw heads are un-molested.  The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action is tight and functions perfectly.  The grips fit perfectly and are in excellent condition, having turned an attractive brown color, and have no chips or cracks.  A very nice example of its type.  Comes with a Colt letter verifying the barrel length and shipment to Jackson Hughes Co. of El Paso, TX on July 12, 1904, as well as a Hank Williams Jr. signed letter stating the gun was at one time in his personal collection.                                               PRICE:  Sold      We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual Firearm,  Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                      NOTE:  No additional Fee for Credit Card Purchases.
