Colt Single Action - Western used(?) - 44/40 , 7 1/2 inch - 1884
Description:
Classic Western used Single Action - Rode Hard and had to sleep in the Barn.
Shows "Kill notches" from the many Gun Fights it has probably been in..
Marks on the Top - some on the backstrap - and even a couple on the ejector..
Possibly a couple old blacksmith or Western Gun shop Repairs being a replaced homemade
Cylinder pin and Ejector rod.. Grips fit tight - I believe their original, minor tip of toe's worn...
Barrel is marked 44 where it should be , yet No serial number, doesnt look as if it was ever there..
seems like what I would call 3 clicks to the hammer - yet it functions fairly tight.
It has it's own style , so I never got a letter..
SN : 108501 , which dates to 1884.. The OLD classics are getting scarce (and expensive)
ask, if I missed anything..
