Has a 5” barrel with excellent Colt address markings. shortened from 7.5”. Also has under the original ejector housing on the barrel the number 2615 also has the original bullseye ejector rod head. The Frame has the early 2 line patent date markings and small US marking. Serial#12615 Mfg’d 1874. All matching except the backstrap #12745 factory or arsenal mistake but it does have the small A inspector marking just behind the hammer slot. The triggerguard has the serial number and a small A for Ainsworth inspector. The cylinder has the small A and a P and 2615 number. The gun has about 10% Orignal nickel finish remaining in protected areas . The hammer is a replacement with traces of case color. Metal overall has an aged blue grey patina finish with a little fine pitting mainly on the ejector housing.The hammer slot has the initial C and the loading gate is numbered 59 matching frame ,also a C marking on the back of the cylinder
