"Serial number 138269. Made in 1891. 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This is a very fine example of a Colt Cavalry model. Approximately 40% of the original blue on the barrel with the remaining of the barrel fading into a plum colored patina. Traces of case colors remain in protected areas. This is a Rinaldo A Carr inspected gun and all of the appropriate inspectors mark are present. The grips have been lightly refinished and only the right hand side cartouche is visible. The action works perfectly. The bore is excellent. . Very fine example of a cavalry model!
