Description:
*SOLD*-- This is a nice old Colt that is totally original, and untouched, just like you like to find them. It was brought in to a small gun shop by the family of the original owner when I purchased it, several years ago. It has developed a nice brown patina with some bright original blue still showing in the recessed areas on the top and bottom side of the ejector housing, on the butt of the revolver, and behind the hammer on the back strap. Nice original screws with most showing a darkened fire blue still remaining. All markings, including the barrel address, serial #'s, and patent dates are very good and easily readable. All 5 serial #'s match. Very nice and attractive wood grips with quite a bit of the original varnish still remaining, as well. The mechanics are very good and the bore would rate very good too. The etched panel is very light, but, can mostly be seen under good light conditions.(see pic). Comes with the factory archive letter shown, and an old heavily tooled holster that is marked on the back 44 7 1/2, old cartridge/money belt marked "S.D. Myres El Paso, Tex". This gun overall is a nice, untouched, never monkeyed with, old Colt SAA revolver !. Please ask questions if desired. NO FFL required, unless the state you live in requires one for transfer. No sales to NJ, NYC, and CA. Shipping will be $40.00 which does include insurance to the lower 48 states,
