Description:
*SALE PENDING* -- Nice, antique Colt SAA revolver shipped in 1881. This gun is WAY above average for an early Colt single action revolver, still showing strong areas of original bright blue mainly on the top and bottom of the ejector housing, on the trigger guard area by the serial #, on the butt, top of the backstrap, and on the front part of the barrel. (see pics). The screws are excellent with most of them retaining some darkened fire blue. Very nice grips with a high percentage of the original varnish. Excellent mechanics and tight lockup. Nice bore with only very minor frosting. All 5 serial #'s match and all markings are crisp and clear. Just a couple of very light marks on the frame from use as can be expected after 140 + years. You just don't find them like this these days, this is a NICE old Colt single action revolver from 1881. Comes with factory archive letter, as shown. Please ask questions if desired. NO FFL required, unless the state you live in requires one by law, for transfer. No sales to NJ, NYC, or CA. Shipping will be $45.00 to the lower 48 states. Thank you.
