Very Rare Colt United States Marine Corps New Service 1909 D.A. 45 Colt Revolver with Matching USMC Holster
Description: A seldom encountered Colt 1909 USMC .45 Colt revolver with matching USMC holster. Only 1300 of this model were produced by Colt and far fewer survive today. This is one of the most desirable Colt revolvers amongst collectors. It comes with a matching holster marked USMC and a Colt letter showing the gun was shipped in a lot of 350 to the United States Quartermaster U.S. Marine Corps on August 28th, 1909. The expert restoration preserved all of the original markings with each being clear and distinctive. The butt markings show USMC 242. The original checkered stocks remain in very good condition and the gun is mechanically excellent as is the bore. The original USMC holster shows use but still has the markings on the front and back. The front is marked with the USMC marking and the back of the holster is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1909. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
