Colt New Service Target .357 Magnum with 5” Barrel
Description: Here is one that you don’t see every day. It is a Colt New Service Target in .357 Magnum with the 5” barrel. The gun remains in excellent condition with just a slight edge wear on the muzzle and a small spot on the right side of the lower part of the frame (See Photo). The gun is mechanically perfect and the bore is excellent. The original factory checkered walnut grips are free from chips and cracks and remain in new condition. The front sight is a bead and the fully adjustable rear sight has the U-notch. The gun comes with two copies of the Colt New Service brochures. The .357 Magnum caliber was introduced in the New Service in 1935 and this gun dates to 1939. The .357 is the most difficult calibers to find in the New Service and especially with the shorter barrel. Certainly, a gun that would fit in any collection. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
