Description:
Wonderfully well-preserved, well-maintained Colt New Service .45 ACP with near perfect, one-hundred plus year old rust blue finish.
Shows pristine, bright bore and cylinders. Perfect indexing and lock-up. Tight, solid cylinder and crane to frame fit. Nice color case on lanyard ring. No damage to steel, only a few light handling marks, and a shallow scratch beneath the Rampant Colt. The right side of the hammer is lightly tarnished, easily polished if desired. The wood grips are in great condition, bright escutcheons and grips screw, no cracks, just minor handling.
There is no rust or pitting or damage. An all-around high condition, original example of the Colt War Horse from 1918.

Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your area. A C&R license is acceptable for C&R firearms only (guns determined to be C&R eligible by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old).
New York Residents: Handguns cannot be shipped directly to a C&R holder in the State of New York and must be transferred through your local dealer.
Antique firearms require the buyer to supply proof of age. Some areas may require an FFL transfer for antique & black powder firearms (New Jersey, NYC, etc.)
