Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are over the top proud to offer this nigh impossible to find Colt Paterson set with 9 and 12 inch barrels, plus a spare cylinder. All components bear the same serial number. Both barrels have been fired, with the bores a little gritty, but not too bad. Both cylinders are squarebacks, which I imagine would make loading easier in the absense of a loading lever. This is the model that started it all for Sam Colt. No more single shot pistols, and the Texas Rangers made them famous. Holding it in your hand makes you wonder about how empowered that would make those first lucky Colt users feel. The action is crisp, and the trigger drops as designed as the hammer is drawn back. Both barrel addresses are pictured. Every serious Colt collector strives to have a Paterson, and that is not an easy task. I can guarantee that this is the only multi barrel set you will find anywhere. If you have been looking for the mighty Colt Paterson, but want the added clout of a second matched barrel, then look no further.

Is this an all original gun, 1842 or earlier manufacture? 
   My answer:
No, sir, or the price would be 20 times as much. These were sold by Colt with the signature series from 1998 to 2002, Patersons made at the tail end of production. Luckily, there is nothing on the backstrap. Engraved versions have recently sold for 5 figures. One famous Colt collector/expert states "They are as hard to find as the originals". Just like the originals, these are the only Patersons you will find with the correct barrel address and COLT on the cylinder.
