This special order Colt Army Special with fancy checkered walnut grips is chambered in .38 Special and has the very desirable 4” barrel. The one gun shipment was ordered in 1916 and comes with special order checkered trigger and backstrap. It comes with box, paperwork and Colt factory letter. I have collected the Colt Amp Specials for over 50 years and this is the only one with this configuration that I have ever seen. The gun shows some moderate wear and has been used but the action is tight with proper lockup and the bore is very good. A rare gun that has some great features. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
