Colt Model 1849 pocket .31 perc

Description:
Colt 1849 pocket percussion .31 caliber revolver.

Made in 1864 this 6” barrel ’49 remains in good to very good antique condition.
Barrel blue is 80-85% with sharp edges and a very fine bore.
The frame is faded.
The Stage Coach scene on the matching serial numbered cylinder is visible but faded.
The grips have either shrunk or (more likely) have been sanded and refinished because they are a bit small for the frame.
Good screws.
Mechanically solid but indexing needs a little tuning.

Overall, this is a nice example of a Colt 1849
