Colt Dragoon 3rd model 44 cal Black powder revolver. 7.5" barrel marked Address Colt New Youk City. The frame, trigger guard, grip frame, cylinder, and cylinder ramrod. all are marked with serial # 16144, MFG APPROX 1856. Each grip has a cartouche. The frame is marked Colt's Patent, but not marked U.S. From my research, this was a civilian model and the frame was not cut for a shoulder stock. The original finish remains and a cylinder is engraved with a Texas Ranger/Indian fight scene.. The bore is bright with no pitting and strong rifling. The grips are original and are free from cracks or chips. I can only load 15 photos, If you want to see any other features or need additional information, please e-mail me. This also has a brown flap holster with U. S. markings on the flap. Most of the finish is gone, but it is fully intact. Shipping is $75.00 which includes insurance. Will ship to an FFL, or C&R.
