COLT, M-1855 “Root” Side Hammer Revolver, FIRST YEAR Production, .28 Cal x 3 1/2  SN: 2608, Antique, c.1855

Description:
*** PRICE REDUCED ***   This Colt Model 1855, 2nd model revolver (Root Model) was manufactured by Colt in the first year of production,1855. The Model was later discontinued in 1870.
This revolver has remnants of original varnish on the grips. The finish on the metal surfaces is mostly gone but the roll marks and matching serial numbers remain clear. Unfortunately, the cylinder scene didn’t fair as well. The Hammer and Trigger function fine but the cylinder does not advance but can be turned.
Serial Number 2608, .28 Cal with a 3 ½” Barrel. Antique, Proof of age & residence required.

SHIPPING: 
Normally shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with a return receipt.  Typical Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this handgun is $35.00.

Antique firearms, pre 1898 do not require a Federal License. For purchase, a copy of a Government Issued Identification (Driver’s License, Etc.), showing date of birth and current address will be required.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyer’s responsibility.
