Civil War Cased Colt 1862 Mfg. 1849 Pocket

Description:
From a local estate sale, a Civil War era Colt model 1849 pocket 31 cal. Silver plated frame with wood grips. Front blade sight, one line Colt address on the top barrel flat and fitted with smooth walnut grips (see photos). The metal surfaces have a gray and brownish patina with some original blue. There is some minor pitting and the grips are good with some lower edge wear and a few minor dings and dents (see photos). The markings are clear, the action functions as it should and everything works properly (see photos). The case is worn but undamaged and has a Colt bullet mold and a old pistol flask as well as some lead round balls (see photos). At the sale they said, although old, the case is newer than the gun. I am not a expert and have no way to authenticate this pistol therefore, I am offering this gun with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it does not live up to your expectations, in any way, return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping.
