Great looking Army .44 cal. revolver from the famous Colt Firearms Company. Makers mark fully legible on full length 8” barrel. Matching serial number 67176 indicating gun was made in early part of 1862. Crisp action on all positions. “Colts Patent” on left side of frame and a good amount of cylinder scene engraving remains, making this gun a little more desirable as so many have no scene left. Gun retains original walnut grips with “CSL”, Chester S. Leonard and “JT” John Taylor on other side. These cartouches let us know gun was approved and used by soldiers.
