Salty been there and done that First Model (my favorite) Colt Dragoon. This is the true “hog leg” revolver used to tame the west and used by both sides in the Civil War. If you like minty this gun’s not for you but if you like a rustic kicked ass Colt Revolver that saw the elephant for an affordable price then this gun’s definitely for you. Action works. All matching very low four digit serial numbers of 1356 makes this first year 1848 production. Loading lever looks like 006. Colt markings on barrel present but weak. Bore is dirty but has rifling. You will be hard pressed to find another 1st Model Dragoon or any Colt Dragoon anywhere near this price. Priced to sell. Buyer pays shipping. More pictures or videos can be done for serious buyers.
