An Early Civil War Colt Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver With 4 1/2 Inch Barrel In Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial #16572, all matching numbers including the wedge. Made in early 1863. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. The barrel on the gun retains most of its original factory blue with a couple of small spots turning to a plum brown patina. The cylinder ha a mix of original blue and patina on it. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all show fine plus case colors throughout. All screws are fine with original blue on them. The brass backstrap and trigger guard are fine with some original silver still remaining on them. The original grips are excellent plus and retain their original varnish. The gun has a fine action and bore. This Is An Excellent And All Original Civil War Colt Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver Made In Early 1863!
