An Early Civil War Deluxe Colt Factory Engraved Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver With A 6 1/2 Inch Barrel And Deluxe Grips In Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial # 20,677, made in 1863. All matching numbers including the wedge. All original and complete. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and factory engraving throughout. Both the barrel and cylinder retain lots of original blue which is evenly thinning to a natural plum patina in areas. The back of the cylinder retains all of its pins. The frame, lever, and hammer all retain fine original case colors with the lever fading to a plum color. The factory engraved backstrap and trigger guard are both fine with an untouched mellow color to them. All screws are fine plus with original color. The factory deluxe grips are excellent plus throughout and have a wonderful color and grain to them. They are factory numbered to the revolver on the inside. The revolver has a fine bore and nice action. This Is An Excellent Example Of A Scarce Civil War Deluxe Colt Factory Engraved Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver With A 6 1/2 Inch Barrel. Early Deluxe Engraved Colt Revolvers Like This One Are Very hard To Come By!
