Model 1842 U.S. Henry Aston pistol

Description:
Model 1842 horse pistol in good plus Cond. Wood stock is solid and not been sanded with two light cartoches on left flat. Brass parts have good age patina. Lock plate is marked U.S. H. ASTON and dated 1850. Barrel has been cleaned and has scatered pitting with remains of proof marks. Hammer holds half and full cock with strong mainspring. 54 caliber smoothboor is good.
