Description:
Colt Official Police King Super Target in .22 Long Rifle. This double action revolver was originally manufactured by Colt in 1940. It was subsequently upgraded into its Colt-King Super Target configuration. Left side of the barrel is marked "COLT", followed by the model and cal. designations, with "COLT-KING SUPER TARGET" marked on the left side of the ventilated rib. The left side of hammer is marked "KING/ COCKEYED/ HAMMER" and features an extension of the left side. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. The frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood aftermarket grips. The action has been custom tuned and features a crisp trigger pull. Grooved ventilated rib is inletted into the top strap of the frame and features a reflector blade front sight and adjustable square notch rear sight. No box. .22 Long Rifle
