Description: A Very Early U.S. Military Issued Civil War Remington New Model 1858 Percussion Army Revolver In Nice Untouched Condition. Very early serial #6,687, all matching numbers. All original and complete. Made in early 1863. The revolver has very nice metal, markings, and edges. It has a nice barrel address and is fully U.S. Sub Inspected. The revolver has an untouched natural patina throughout it with some areas as shown have a natural darkening plum color on them. The brass trigger guard has an untouched mellow color to it. All screws are nice on the revolver. The original grips are fine throughout and have a perfect U.S. Inspectors Cartouche on the left side. It has a nice action and fine bore.
