Description: An Early Civil War Percussion Colt #4 Model Root Revolver In Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #28,936, all matching numbers. Made in 1861, all original & complete. The revolver has fine metal throughout with nice markings and edges. It has the correct "Hartford Barrel Address" on it. All of the metal on the pistol has a n untouched natural brown patina on it with the frame still showing areas of original factory blue on it. All screws are fine. The original grips are fine and untouched throughout. The revolver has a nice action and .28 Caliber bore in it.
