Description:
This is an early S&W #2 Army 32 rimfire having serial number 8071 and was made about 1861. It retains about 78% original blue finish and the grips retain 95% varnish. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The barrel to frame is tight as new and the bore is very good bright and shiny but does have a small amount of corrosion from the black powder priming. Many of these were popular with officers and enlisted men during the Civil War. They realized the quickest reload was another revolver. “CAN NOT SELL TO CANADA” I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE?
